About the Role
Lead and grow a team of mobile engineers responsible for developing and maintaining native iOS and Android applications. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, mentor developers, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mobile software engineers in building and maintaining native applications
- Drive engineering best practices including code quality, testing, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and deliver product features
- Mentor engineers in technical and professional development
- Participate in technical architecture and roadmap planning
- Ensure alignment between engineering efforts and business goals
- Support agile development processes and team rituals
- Identify and resolve technical debt and scalability challenges
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to streamline release cycles
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Manage team priorities and resource allocation
- Conduct performance reviews and career development discussions
- Recruit and onboard new engineering talent
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration
- Monitor application stability and user feedback
- Support incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Balance short-term deliverables with long-term technical vision
- Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions
