As a Mobile Engineer, you'll take full ownership of the mobile application across iOS and Android, building on React Native to deliver a seamless and trustworthy experience for managing money. This role is foundational—your work will define how users first engage with the product, turning complex financial and cryptographic operations into simple, intuitive interactions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end development of the mobile app, making key decisions in architecture, implementation, and user experience.
- Design clear, user-friendly flows for sending, receiving, and managing funds—prioritizing clarity and trust in every interaction.
- Collaborate with product and design to prototype and refine features, then ship them with precision.
- Build secure account and custody models that can scale reliably with growing user adoption and larger balances.
- Work alongside backend and infrastructure teams to integrate APIs, identity systems, and payment layers into the mobile experience.
- Champion code quality through thoughtful design, testing, and thorough review processes.
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years of hands-on experience shipping mobile applications using React Native.
- Strong command of the Expo ecosystem and modern build workflows, including EAS.
- A sharp eye for UI/UX detail, especially in consumer-facing fintech or crypto products.
- Deep understanding of mobile performance, offline behavior, and edge-case handling.
- Proven ability to work independently, set direction, and drive features from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Genuine interest in payments, financial infrastructure, or cryptocurrency—no need for deep blockchain expertise, but curiosity is essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience shipping a mobile app from idea to launch, particularly in a small or early-stage team.
- Background in consumer fintech (like neobanks or P2P payments) or mobile crypto wallets (including Solana or non-custodial models).
- Familiarity with GCP or AWS for cloud infrastructure.
- Experience deploying or integrating with smart contracts on Solana or similar blockchain platforms.
- Exposure to security practices such as threat modeling or penetration testing, especially in financial applications.
