The Sr. Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and sustain secure iOS and Android applications for federal government clients. This role operates in a classified, mission-critical setting using Agile methodologies and collaborates with security and backend teams to deliver scalable, high-security mobile solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure mobile applications using cross-platform frameworks and native iOS or Android technologies.
- Implement secure coding practices in alignment with RMF, STIGs, and secure SDLC requirements.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, enterprise services, and identity and access management systems.
- Support integrations with Mobile Device Management platforms such as Samsung Knox and VMware AirWatch.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint execution for timely delivery of critical capabilities.
- Clearly communicate technical progress, risks, and decisions to team members and leadership.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly within high-security operational environments.
- Promote continuous improvement and uphold technical excellence across the development team.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI.
- Possess a certification compliant with DoD 8140, such as Security+ or higher.
- Hold a certification meeting AZ-204 or AWS Developer Associate requirements.
- Have at least five years of professional experience developing cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining, integrating, optimizing, and debugging mobile applications in live environments.
- Experience implementing secure mobile architectures, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with enterprise services and APIs, particularly REST-based interfaces.
- Experience supporting MDM and secure enterprise mobile deployments, including use of Samsung Knox SDK and Knox REST APIs.
- Ability to begin contributing immediately with minimal onboarding in a mission-critical environment.

- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute.

Compensation
Salary range: $170,000 - $216,000 per year, determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, organizational needs, and internal equity. Eligible for performance-based bonuses, referral bonuses, and company-paid training/certifications.
