Atrato, a fintech startup focused on making financial tools more accessible across Latin America, is seeking a Junior MLOps Engineer to join its Data team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid programming foundation and an interest in data science and model deployment, eager to learn and grow in a demanding, collaborative technical environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals in MLOps, Data Engineering, and Machine Learning, learning how we safely, efficiently, and scalably bring machine learning models to production.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate on the implementation and maintenance of data and model pipelines.
- Support the monitoring and versioning of models in production.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous integration practices.
- Learn MLOps best practices in a real production environment.
- Work with the Data Science team to facilitate the transition of models from experimentation to production.
What We're Looking For
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in technical roles (internships, personal projects, bootcamps, or first jobs).
- Solid foundation in Python and command line usage.
- Basic knowledge of development tools like Git, Docker, and SQL.
- Interest in learning about model deployment, CI/CD, and pipeline automation.
- Proactivity, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to work in a constantly evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with tools like FastAPI, MLflow, AWS, Terraform, or similar.
- Knowledge of MLOps or DevOps concepts.
