Lockheed Martin Canada is looking for a Mission Planning System Administrator to join our team supporting the Joint Strike Fighter Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at Iwakuni, Japan. You will be a key point of contact for the United States Marine Corps, supporting day-to-day operations at an active F-35 squadron. This role involves performing mission planning, system, and network administration duties while working closely with USMC pilots and administrators.
What You'll Do
- Interact daily with users providing assistance on the ALIS product suite.
- Perform COMSEC duties and adhere to requirements; learn CRO duties.
- Support pilots in all aspects of Mission Planning and Debriefing.
- Perform Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) installation and data updates.
- Support, administer, and monitor associated hardware, software, and pilot accounts.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues tied to mission planning and debrief.
- Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems, databases, and network equipment.
- Review processes and procedures, collecting system operational data for analysis.
- Coordinate extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilities.
- Develop a group of less experienced Mission Systems Administrators.
- Oversee resolution of issues with Mission Planning related IT and Crypto Systems.
- Provide support at other locations and aboard ships deploying with the system, involving temporary travel.
What We're Looking For
- Hold a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years (or enrollment in the Continuous Verification Program).
- Hold a current DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven IT System Administration experience.
- Prior mission planning and debrief experience working with Fifth Generation Fighters.
- Willingness and ability to deploy in support of the USMC.
- Experience with three of the following: Powershell; Virtual Machines; DNS/DHCP; SQLPlus; RMAN; data import/export; Layers 2 & 3; firewalls; intrusion detection.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent experience/education) with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years with a related Master's degree.
- At least 1-2 years as an F-35 Mission Planning Administrator or ALIS Administrator.
- Prior experience working with pilots supporting F-35 ALIS Mission Planning and Debrief.
- Knowledge of JMPS, Link-16, Mission Planning and Debrief, and/or COMSEC.
- A background working on a Fighter Program with familiarity of Mission Planning and Operations.

- Compensation: $85,500 - $150,765 (base range for specified states); $98,300 - $170,315 (for most major metropolitan areas in CA, MA, NY). Final salary reflects work location.
