Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using modern software practices
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across devices and OS versions
- Implement UI components according to design specifications
- Optimize app performance and responsiveness
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Stay updated with Android platform developments and industry trends
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Android developer with published applications
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages
- Familiarity with Android SDK and development tools
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
- Understanding of Material Design principles
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git
- Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks
- Solid grasp of software architecture patterns such as MVVM
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
- Background in agile or Scrum development environments
