Myhcm is looking for an Android Developer to support the delivery and modification of Android applications based on client needs. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from design and prototyping to testing and maintenance, ensuring applications are scalable and performant. You'll join an ever-growing community of 300+ talented people within Osiris Trading, part of Super Group.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients to perform needs analysis and develop new software applications or update existing ones.
- Design innovative applications and build prototypes, outlining program structure and information architecture.
- Create, test, and debug source code to prevent and remove errors.
- Build and deliver scalable, low-latency services and applications for Android platforms.
- Coordinate application plans with all relevant parties and drive the full development lifecycle within deadlines.
- Evaluate existing applications to perform updates, modifications, and add new features.
- Maintain code quality and write automated tests to ensure product quality.
What We're Looking For
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional, agile teams with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within scope.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a relevant degree or diploma.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment.
- Ability to work alongside a Backend Development team to integrate application code.
- Proficiency in designing and building advanced Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Nice to Have
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types, and market trends.
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with understanding of player behaviour and regulations.
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions.
- Experience with customer retention strategies.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, XML/JSON, Cloud Message APIs, and Push Notifications.
- Experience with Third-party libraries and API Integrations.
- Knowledge of Native and Hybrid App Development.
- Experience with TFS / Git and a full understanding of MVC.
- Proven Android app development experience with strong knowledge of the Android SDK.
- Working knowledge of the mobile landscape, architecture, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to translate designs into high-quality, reusable, and readable code that fits all mobile devices.
