Base.com Brazil is looking for a Mid PHP Developer to join our growing organization. In this role, you will focus on enhancing and maintaining the Base e-commerce platform, optimizing its code for performance, reliability, and security. You'll be joining during a phase of rapid growth where collaboration and tangible impact are paramount.
What You'll Do
- Enhance the Base platform to ensure seamless integration with existing and new systems.
- Maintain the core functionalities of the platform.
- Optimize code for performance, reliability, and application security.
- Collaborate directly with technical leads, fellow developers, and support and maintenance teams.
- Contribute to additional development projects within the Base ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in software development, preferably with PHP or Node.js.
- Ability to independently test and ensure the functionality of assigned tasks from the end-user perspective.
- Analytical skills to effectively navigate project requirements.
- Enthusiasm for tackling individual challenges and working collaboratively with other developers.
- Self-sufficiency and exceptional time management skills in a remote work environment.
- Proficient English language skills (at least B2 level).
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in e-commerce projects.
- Familiarity with the Base product.
