About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Mid-level Backend Engineer to join our growing team, bringing expertise in TypeScript and backend development to help build scalable systems that power our renewable energy solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems from the ground up.
- Contribute to decisions about tools, frameworks, and development processes.
- Build a scalable platform tailored for the renewable energy sector.
- Integrate new offerings such as smart meters, dynamic pricing, and EV charging solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional backend development experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust APIs.
- Strong grasp of relational database concepts and usage.
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience working on new projects and building systems from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Docker and GitHub Actions.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, RDS (Aurora), S3, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- Experience with React or React Native, or a willingness to learn and support full-stack development when needed.
- Practical use of AI tools in development workflows for debugging, documentation, or testing—valuing productivity gains without sacrificing engineering rigor.
