About the Role
This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing geographic and program data to inform emergency response and resilience initiatives in complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage geospatial data collection and analysis for field programs
- Produce detailed maps to support operational planning and reporting
- Ensure data quality and consistency across program databases
- Collaborate with field teams to integrate GIS into monitoring systems
- Support real-time data visualization for emergency response
- Maintain geographic information systems infrastructure
- Train staff on data entry and mapping tools
- Develop dashboards for program performance tracking
- Coordinate with technical teams to align data standards
- Conduct spatial analysis to identify service gaps
- Support proposal development with geographic insights
- Document data management procedures and workflows
- Ensure compliance with data protection protocols
- Integrate satellite imagery into program assessments
- Assist in baseline and post-distribution monitoring
- Generate regular reports using spatial and statistical data
- Optimize data collection tools for mobile platforms
- Support inter-agency coordination through shared data platforms
- Maintain up-to-date administrative boundary datasets
- Troubleshoot technical issues in data systems
- Promote data-driven decision-making across teams
- Ensure compatibility between GIS and database systems
- Support remote sensing analysis for environmental monitoring
- Participate in security assessments using location data
- Contribute to evaluations and learning processes
