Seven Starling is hiring a Mental Health Therapist - Women's Health - Washington, DC licensed

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to women.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Advocate for patients' mental health needs within the healthcare system.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.
  • Participate in regular supervision and case consultations.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on women's mental health issues.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resources.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  • Support patients in developing coping strategies and resilience.
  • Assist patients in navigating the mental health care system.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Advocate for policies and practices that improve women's mental health.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support during transitions in care, such as hospital discharge.
