Sobi is hiring a Medical Science Liaison - Rheumatology - Pacific Northwest

About the Role

This position involves building relationships with key healthcare providers and stakeholders to support the scientific understanding of therapies in rheumatology, primarily through non-promotional interactions and medical education.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct non-promotional scientific discussions with healthcare professionals
  • Provide medical education on disease states and treatment options in rheumatology
  • Respond to requests for medical information with accurate, up-to-date data
  • Gather and share insights from clinicians regarding treatment practices and unmet needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to inform medical strategy
  • Support clinical trial awareness and investigator engagement
  • Attend and represent at medical conferences and advisory boards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in all interactions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rheumatology therapeutics and guidelines
  • Track and report field activities using CRM systems
  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders in the region
  • Facilitate scientific exchange between external experts and internal teams
  • Support the dissemination of medical materials in alignment with approved content
  • Monitor competitive landscape and emerging therapies
  • Serve as a trusted medical resource for external partners
