State Street’s Chief Data Office (CDO) - Global Technology Solutions is seeking an MDM AWS Solution Architect to govern and report on data health across the enterprise. In this role, you will design and deliver Master Data Management solutions, leveraging Databricks data ingestion pipelines and AWS services to meet critical business requirements.
What You'll Do
- Lead, design, and develop data solutions on AWS services and Databricks.
- Execute proofs of concept and build data integrations between on-premise and cloud-based systems.
- Manage and use appropriate tools for cloud data lake development and deployment.
- Migrate existing data processing workloads onto the cloud platform.
- Participate in technical design, build, configuration, unit testing, and deployment.
- Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical design and implementation.
- Own diagnosis and resolution of issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work with other teams for deployment, testing, training, and production support.
- Ensure development, coding, privacy, and security standards are consistently met.
- Conduct architecture reviews, identify gaps, and implement best practices on the AWS platform.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and Databricks.
- Proficiency in writing PySpark code for building data engineering pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in writing and analyzing complex SQL (Oracle/SQL).
- Experience working with a cloud platform (AWS is highly preferred).
- Understanding of on-premise to cloud migration for data applications and solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Python programming for data processing.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on SQL databases.
- Ability to work independently and ensure requirements are properly translated into pipeline logic.
- Ability to thoroughly test pipelines for data accuracy and reconciliation.
- Experience with Agile SDLC processes for managing and delivering requirements.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in CI/CD and DevOps processes.
- AWS or Databricks certification.
- Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and data reconciliation.
