Kohl's is looking for a Web Design Intern for the MBJ Network to assist in designing, updating, and optimizing websites that reflect our editorial and brand vision. This role is a great opportunity to work on real-world projects, build your portfolio, and gain hands-on experience.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and editors to create responsive, user-friendly web pages and layouts.
- Assist in wireframing, prototyping, and designing pages for desktop and mobile.
- Help maintain and update existing web content using CMS tools like WordPress.
- Support website testing, UX improvement, and performance optimization efforts.
- Apply branding and style guidelines consistently across all digital touchpoints.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, UX/UI, or a related field.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Passion for clean, modern design and intuitive user experiences.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- JavaScript experience is a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of design work (personal, academic, or professional) strongly preferred.
