Explore Learning is looking for a Maths and English Tutor to join our Chester centre. You will be a key part of our mission to change children’s lives by nurturing the skills and attitudes to become fearless learners. You’ll work in an inspiring environment that supports learning for both members and tutors.
What You'll Do
- Lead small group tutoring sessions using a tailored learning approach and the Compass smart learning tool.
- Build lasting relationships with members in a 1:6 ratio environment to inspire them to be fearless learners.
- Support members as they progress through the national curriculum, 11 plus entrance exam, and GCSE preparation.
- Celebrate member achievements and strive to see meaningful change in their progress.
What We're Looking For
- Achieved a grade 5 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent (predicted grades accepted if results within 3 months).
- Age 16 or over.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to physically get to the Chester centre.
- Looking for a long-term commitment for consistency.
