Sylvan Learning Centers is hiring a Part-Time Math Tutor to deliver high-level math content mastery and build confidence-boosting rapport with students from elementary through 12th grade. This educational and relational role focuses entirely on teaching math, with no lesson planning or parent paperwork required.

What You'll Do

Deliver a high level of math content mastery to students.
Build confidence-boosting rapport with students.
Teach math to students from elementary through 12th grade to help them get ahead or get caught up.

What We're Looking For

A bachelor’s degree in math or a related field.
A love for and passion for teaching.
Successful tutoring or teaching experience.
Strong math knowledge and a love for working out math problems.
The ability to control and manage your own time.
An enjoyment of people and finding kids fun.
A belief in making and sticking to commitments.
A belief in the power of Radical Honesty.
A love for learning and seeing feedback as an opportunity to grow.

Nice to Have
