About the Role
This position involves analyzing manufacturing data, identifying process inefficiencies, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across production operations. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop metrics, track performance, and implement data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and performance gaps
- Develop reports and dashboards to track key operational metrics
- Support process improvement initiatives by evaluating workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve operational issues
- Assist in identifying root causes of manufacturing delays or defects
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Monitor production schedules and capacity utilization
- Participate in cross-functional teams to streamline operations
- Evaluate cost drivers and recommend efficiency improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of analysis methods and findings
- Use statistical tools to assess process capability and variation
- Support implementation of new manufacturing technologies or systems
- Track and report on safety, quality, and on-time delivery metrics
- Contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with internal reporting standards and procedures
Nice to Have
- Experience in aerospace or high-complexity manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality improvement frameworks
- Project management experience in operational settings
- Advanced skills in data visualization platforms
