About the Role: The Huntress Security Operations Center represents a worldwide team of security analysts dedicated to investigating and responding to network incidents continuously. Daily responsibilities encompass providing comprehensive investigation, containment, and responsive actions across millions of endpoints. This position is responsible for defining and optimizing processes, workflows, and operational playbooks to enable effective daily operations. As Huntress expands, we are strategically focused on scaling operations and exponentially amplifying analyst capabilities. The role ensures analysts meet mission objectives and achieve internal Service Level Objectives for response times. The Security Operations Manager will collaborate with regional counterparts to maintain consistent global operations while providing professional development and career advancement opportunities for the analyst team. Roles and Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and enforce internal processes to mitigate burnout and enhance operational center productivity against global expectations - Manage and enforce shift coverage to maintain continuous 24/7 operations - Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with analysts to communicate initiatives, gather feedback, provide performance guidance, and accelerate career progression - Contribute to analyst training program development focusing on Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation - Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize capabilities expanding analyst effectiveness - Maintain quality assurance accountability for designated regional operations - Create streamlined workflows between Support and Security Operations Center for partner/customer requests - Strengthen relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams - Provide technical leadership for Security Operations Center analysts - Ensure team alignment with organizational mission and objectives - Offer strategic input to company stakeholders across departments - Develop and track Objectives and Key Results linked to Security Operations Center initiatives - Assist in operationalizing new technologies and services - Participate in public speaking engagements What You Bring To The Team: - Pacific or Mountain time zone residence - Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across multiple disciplines - 5+ years Security Analyst experience in global 24x7 security operations center - 2+ years team leadership in global operations or Incident Response - Active information security community engagement - Continuous learning mindset regarding threat landscapes - Ability to document and diagram complex workflows - Technical communication skills across varied audience levels - Demonstrated project leadership experience - Data-driven analytical approach What We Offer: - 100% remote work environment - Generous paid time off - 12 weeks paid parental leave - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision benefits - 401(k) with 5% company contribution - Life and disability insurance - Stock options for all full-time employees - $500 home office setup reimbursement - Professional development allowance - $75 monthly digital reimbursement - Professional coaching platform access Huntress is committed to creating an inclusive culture valuing every team member's unique contributions.
