Rolls-Royce is hiring a Manager, Customer Support to provide expert technical support and supervision for MTU & Detroit Industrial engines across the APAC region. You will be the technical authority, ensuring our products and systems meet performance and reliability standards for a diverse network of partners and customers.
What You'll Do
- Clarify technical requirements for all MTU & Detroit Engines and systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Distributors, Service Partners, OEMs, and end customers.
- Supervise installation and commissioning work for all MTU & Detroit Industrial engines in the region.
- Conduct installation and commissioning discussions and pre-installation checks with relevant MTU support groups and OEMs.
- Review relevant service information, PIDs, installation reports, and travel reports.
- Evaluate data and reports from commissioning, breakdown, and field repairs.
- Supply diagnostic processes to OEMs, service partners, Distributors, and customers to resolve complex issues.
- Co-ordinate field work and service recovery with local service partners and Distributors.
- Provide on-site investigations and troubleshooting in the APAC region when required.
- Support warranty claims evaluation and provide justification for approval or rejection according to PSPM.
- Provide leads and support to the Sales Department.
- Coordinate with the Failure Analysis Center to carry out FAC as required.
- Assist in the diagnosis of problems on other applications if required.
- Handle any other Support Requirement for the region.
Work Mode
This is a local-country role based within the APAC region, requiring hands-on support and coordination across multiple markets.
