America First Credit Union is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to transform data into actionable business insights and enhance decision-making. In this role, you will be instrumental in operationalizing analytical models, focusing on building robust data pipelines and infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Serve as the go-to person for data pipelines supporting the operational implementation of Data Science models.
Engineer solutions leveraging serverless technology where possible, with a focus on optimized performance.
Execute analytics solution engineering strategy, define requirements, and adapt processes as needed.
Perform DevOps and orchestration for supporting data marts and analytical processes.
Monitor and secure data usage while tracking analytic product performance.
Advise and collaborate with internal partners to deliver accurate, available, and accessible API services.
Ensure all security, documentation, governance, and compliance standards are met.
Manage a small reporting layer on top of models to ensure accountability and insight into performance and impact.
Identify potential concerns based on projections of current trends.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, computer science, statistics, or a related business field, plus 3+ years of equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing Data Science solutions.
Experience developing business analytical solutions in large or midsize companies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly.
Ability to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions.
Development experience with various data management tech: NoSQL; relational databases; message brokers; multi-dimensional databases; and design architecture.
Understanding of data collection, streaming, preparation, analysis, visualization, modeling, algorithm integration, evaluation, and optimization within an implementation context.
Advanced SQL abilities.
Advanced programming experience with Python.
Experience with Linux.

Nice to Have

A Master of Science in information technology, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
Understanding of the financial services industry.
Experience with dashboard design and delivery.
Experience with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
Experience with Anaconda; RabbitMQ; Jupyter Notebook; Tableau.
