About the Role
The position contributes to advancing aerospace technologies through the development of AI/ML solutions, working within a collaborative engineering center that applies cutting-edge technologies to global engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dependable, scalable artificial intelligence and machine learning systems aligned with strategic business outcomes
- Lead the design and deployment of high-performance, cloud-native ML architectures using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, incorporating MLOps and AIOps practices
- Construct, train, and refine machine learning models to ensure precision, performance, and scalability
- Partner with data engineers, data scientists, software developers, and DevOps specialists to integrate ML models into production environments
- Evaluate and propose machine learning tools, frameworks, and platforms that drive innovation and deliver measurable business impact
- Design and implement Generative AI applications, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, multimodal AI, fine-tuning techniques, vector databases, and prompt engineering
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support fast, consistent, and automated software delivery
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tasks using tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps and MLOps methodologies into the software lifecycle and support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Manage communication channels for project execution, providing regular updates to stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors, consulting partners, and internal teams, ensuring accountability and alignment
