Niva Health is hiring a LPN/LVN Mobile Wound Care Nurse to deliver essential wound care services directly to patients in their homes. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing wounds while providing patient education and compassionate support.
What You'll Do
- Travel to patient homes within the Saginaw, Michigan region to provide wound care and nursing services.
- Conduct thorough wound assessments and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform wound care procedures including dressing changes, debridement, and application of topical agents.
- Monitor patient progress and document all care accurately and promptly.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
What We're Looking For
- Current and valid LPN or LVN license in the state of Michigan.
- Demonstrated experience in wound care nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel to patient homes.
- Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Saginaw, Michigan, United States. The role requires daily travel to patient locations within the designated service area.
