Remote VA is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Accountant / Bookkeeper with specialized expertise in AppFolio. This is a fully remote role for a professional based in the Philippines, focused on managing financial operations for property management.

What You'll Do

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for real estate portfolios using AppFolio.
Process and reconcile property-related transactions, including rent collections, payables, and operating expenses.
Generate and analyze financial statements and reports for property owners and stakeholders.
Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant within the real estate or property management industry.
Hands-on, professional experience using AppFolio for property management accounting.
Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles, including tenant ledgers, owner statements, and CAM reconciliations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
