About the Role

Celestica is hiring a Logistics Team Leader 3 to provide direct, first-level supervision for a team of 25-50 employees within our large-scale operations site in Monterrey. You will establish annual plans, contribute to policy development, and drive efficiency across receiving, distribution, shipping, and warehousing functions.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise areas including receiving, distribution, traffic, finished good picking, shipping, offsite warehouse activities, packaging supplies, and inventory control.
  • Develop, improve, and enforce compliance with material handling procedures.
  • Ensure quality standards are achieved and identify and drive process improvements.
  • Analyze best use of carriers and services, maintaining responsibility for carrier selection, rate, and service negotiation.
  • Ensure all domestic and international transportation-related regulatory compliance for the site.
  • Investigate loss, damage, or shortage of finished goods inventory or inbound/outbound freight.
  • Maintain performance metrics for your area of responsibility.
  • Plan, schedule, and control offsite activities including warehouse access and usage.
  • Execute budgets, develop schedules, and enforce policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Four to six years of relevant logistics or warehouse experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, materials, and processes.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management operations and inventory control methods in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications.
  • A good understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
  • Good financial, analytical, contract knowledge, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Team & Environment

You will serve as a first-level supervisor reporting into a second-level manager, leading a team of 25-50 employees at our large site of approximately 800 employees.

Work Mode

This position requires you to work onsite at our facility in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
