About the Role

Remote Talent LATAM is looking for a Logistics & 3PL Manager to oversee the movement of products from overseas factories to the U.S. warehouse and ensure our third-party logistics partner operates smoothly. This remote role is central to aligning inventory with our product launch schedules and supporting our mission to empower women through thoughtfully designed activewear.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all international shipments, including bulk and samples, from factories to the U.S.
  • Plan freight timelines to meet launch schedules and anticipate and resolve delays.
  • Book forwarders within budget and negotiate rates and service levels.
  • Ensure accurate tariff classification, import documentation, and customs compliance.
  • Interpret trade regulations and recommend operational improvements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities in tariff engineering and shipping method optimization.
  • Arrange product invoice payments, complete monthly bookkeeper requests, and maintain payables for freight, duties, and product costs.
  • Collaborate with Production to resolve delays and timing issues.
  • Provide clear shipment status updates to internal teams.
  • Oversee 3PL performance on inbound receiving, processing timelines, and accuracy.
  • Monitor warehouse costs, postage spend, and operational KPIs.
  • Resolve warehouse issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure timely receiving so products are ready for launches and sales events.
  • Track inventory in Shopify and Datex; conduct audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Align with Marketing to set realistic launch dates based on freight and warehouse readiness.
  • Manage discounting and end-of-life inventory actions like markdowns and donations.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL management.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. customs, tariffs, and trade regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in shipment tracking tools, spreadsheets, and inventory management systems.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fast learner who can solve problems independently.
  • Fluent in English with advanced written communication skills.
  • Comfortable navigating and editing spreadsheets, as well as web apps like Slack and Notion.

Nice to Have

  • Experience importing from Asia to the U.S. strongly preferred.
