HSBC Group is hiring a Liquidity Management Analyst

HSBC Group is looking for a Liquidity Management Analyst to operate and administer the bank's cash position and balance sheet investment portfolio. You will support the management and administration of liquidity and interest rate risk within a collaborative, integrity-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Administer liquidity in both pesos and dollars through efficient cash flow control.
• Manage the Bank's Investment Portfolio through reporting, tracking, and administration.
• Review rates and prices for deposit and placement products.
• Execute market operations (Call Money, Fx Swaps, Repos, Forwards) and monitor their impact on liquidity and funding metrics (ALCME, Liability Admission, LCR, NSFR, etc.).
• Improve profitability in liquidity management for Markets Treasury.
• Efficiently handle the bank's leveling process and participate in Banco de México open market operations.
• Prepare reports and strategies for decision-making in Markets Treasury and coordinate with Capital, Liquidity, and IRRBB functions.

What We're Looking For

• Interest and understanding of macroeconomic variables and financial markets.
• Financial mathematics skills.
• Initiative to propose investment ideas and cost-reduction strategies for required operations.
• Leadership and teamwork abilities.
• An open and participatory mindset for implementing new projects.
• Professional English and advanced Excel are essential.
• Knowledge of Mexican financial markets and products (Mbonos, TIIE IRS, XCCY, FX).
• Willingness to understand the institution's functioning, policies, culture, and needs.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of financial market regulations.
• Basic programming skills (Python) and familiarity with transactional systems (Bloomberg, Market Wire).
