hey contact heroes GmbH is looking for a Linux & DevOps System Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and supporting our server infrastructure, implementing DevOps/SRE principles, and managing Kubernetes clusters and databases in an international project environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and support server infrastructure based on HW servers and ESXI.
- Monitor all system processes and services.
- Configure and administer databases.
- Develop and support self-hosted Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate recurring operational processes.
- Implement SRE/DevOps principles and provide technical support for developers.
- Implement security measures in collaboration with the security team.
- Manage system-wide user accounts and permissions.
- Support and mentor support engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or training in IT, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Expert-level administration of Ubuntu/Debian Linux.
- Knowledge of Docker and networks.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience in database administration with MySQL.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Mastery of at least one scripting or programming language (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
- Very good English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ESXI, Kubernetes, and Clickhouse.
- German language skills.
