About the Role
This role involves helping individuals and families understand and select life insurance products that align with their financial goals and protection needs. The advisor will work remotely, serving clients across Tennessee through virtual consultations, needs assessments, and ongoing policy support.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate client financial goals and risk profiles to recommend suitable life insurance products
- Conduct needs analyses to determine appropriate coverage levels for individuals and families
- Explain policy features, exclusions, and financial implications in clear, accessible language
- Support clients through application and underwriting processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of life insurance regulations and product offerings
- Build trust through consistent, professional communication
- Follow up with clients to review and adjust coverage as life circumstances change
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Document client interactions and maintain accurate records
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or virtual meetings
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional financial protection planning
- Ensure compliance with state-specific insurance licensing and regulatory requirements
- Manage a portfolio of clients with attention to retention and satisfaction
- Stay informed about market trends and emerging insurance solutions
- Assist in resolving policy servicing issues with carriers
- Prepare comparisons of available plans to support informed decision-making
- Educate clients on the long-term value of life insurance in estate and legacy planning
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all client engagements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Meet performance benchmarks related to client engagement and policy placement
Nice to Have
- Series 6 or 7 license
- Additional certifications such as CLU or ChFC
- Experience with group or corporate life insurance plans
- Background in financial planning or wealth management
- Multilingual communication abilities
