About the Role
The role involves delivering clinical counseling services to individuals, couples, and families via telehealth. Candidates must hold an active license in good standing and be able to work independently while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote individual and group therapy sessions
- Evaluate clients' mental health needs through structured assessments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when necessary
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Adhere to HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- Respond to client crises within established protocols
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and families
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements
- Document sessions promptly and thoroughly
- Use secure telehealth platforms for service delivery
- Participate in supervision and peer consultations
- Support clients across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Maintain punctuality and reliability in scheduling
- Follow ethical guidelines set by licensing boards
- Report any mandated concerns as required by law
- Coordinate care with external providers when appropriate
- Promote client empowerment and self-efficacy
