About the Role
The role involves providing clinical therapy and assessments to individuals through telehealth platforms, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and state regulations while supporting overall patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual individual therapy sessions with clients
- Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Develop and update treatment plans based on client needs
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with care team members to coordinate services
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Engage in regular clinical supervision as required
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Support client engagement and retention in treatment
- Refer clients to community resources when appropriate
- Adhere to Massachusetts licensing regulations
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
- Conduct initial intake evaluations
- Assess for risk of harm to self or others
- Maintain professional boundaries in all interactions
- Stay current with clinical best practices
- Uphold cultural sensitivity in client care
Nice to Have
- Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy
- Training in dialectical behavior therapy
- Bilingual abilities in English and another language
- Prior telehealth experience
- Specialization in anxiety or mood disorders
- Experience with adolescent populations
- Knowledge of substance use treatment
- Certification in trauma-focused therapies
Compensation
