Responsibilities
- Advise on data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
- Support the implementation of privacy policies across departments
- Review and assess data processing activities for legal adherence
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Assist in responding to data subject requests and privacy inquiries
- Monitor changes in privacy laws and recommend updates
- Conduct privacy impact assessments for new initiatives
- Draft and maintain data processing agreements
- Provide guidance on cross-border data transfers
- Support internal audits related to data protection
- Work with external counsel on compliance matters
- Maintain records of processing activities
- Ensure vendor agreements meet privacy standards
- Assist in training staff on privacy best practices
- Help manage data breach response protocols
- Review marketing and technology initiatives for compliance
- Evaluate third-party data handling practices
- Support compliance with GDPR and other data laws
- Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions
- Contribute to the development of internal compliance tools
