ClearlyAgile is hiring a Lead Quality Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in quality assurance, test automation, or quality engineering
• At least two years focused on developing or maintaining automated test systems
• Proven background in validating modern web applications, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end business processes
• Demonstrated success in establishing or advancing a QA and test automation practice, including standards, coverage strategies, and tooling selection
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, or comparable platforms
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence used within Agile or Scrum workflows
• Experience designing and executing regression, smoke, integration, and acceptance testing suites
• Strong capability to convert product requirements and acceptance criteria into structured test plans and automated checks
• Skilled in diagnosing test failures, pinpointing defects, detecting unstable tests, and enhancing overall test stability
• Solid grasp of release validation, defect tracking, regression risk assessment, and test coverage analysis
• Self-motivated with the ability to define and advance a quality roadmap independently and communicate effectively across Product, Design, and Engineering teams
