About the Role
Lead the design direction for key product initiatives by translating user needs into functional, scalable, and visually cohesive experiences while mentoring a team of designers and aligning with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain design systems across platforms
- Conduct user research to inform product decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle
- Lead design critiques and ensure quality across deliverables
- Translate complex problems into simple, elegant design solutions
- Advocate for user-centered design principles
- Mentor junior designers and support team growth
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and leadership
- Gather and incorporate feedback from users and team members
- Drive consistency in visual and interaction design
- Balance user needs with technical and business constraints
- Own end-to-end design processes from discovery to launch
- Identify opportunities for design improvements
- Support roadmap planning with design insights
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in design outputs
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Use data to validate design decisions
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities
