Glean is hiring a Lead Pega Systems Architect

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Integration Design • Design comprehensive integration strategies connecting Pega CDH with enterprise systems utilizing diverse communication protocols like REST/JSON, SOAP, Kafka, MQ, SFTP, and ETL methodologies • Construct detailed architectural frameworks encompassing data flow visualizations, interaction sequences, integration protocols, and deployment infrastructures • Validate integration capabilities supporting instantaneous decision-making, maximum throughput, minimal latency, and comprehensive system availability across customer interaction channels • Establish and implement robust standards for authentication, authorization, data protection, error management, retry mechanisms, system logging, and API version control Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight • Function as primary technical strategist for integration initiatives spanning all environment stages (Development through Production) • Critically evaluate and authorize system integration designs, data mappings, and interface specifications • Mentor development teams and architectural professionals in constructing scalable, modular technological components • Confirm integration deliverables comply with enterprise security protocols, regulatory requirements, and architectural governance frameworks CDH Enablement & Ecosystem Orchestration • Develop comprehensive data acquisition strategies targeting interaction histories, customer profile streams, decisioning datasets, and AI model input mechanisms • Collaborate extensively with Decisioning and Data Architecture teams to ensure integrations facilitate real-time eligibility assessments, suitability evaluations, arbitration processes, and predictive scoring • Optimize container performance across inbound communication channels including digital platforms, mobile interfaces, contact centers, self-service terminals, and interactive voice response systems Client Engagement & Advisory • Conduct strategic workshops with technological teams, enterprise architects, and application ownership groups to define integration requirements • Present architectural recommendations, integration methodologies, and comparative analysis to senior executive and technical stakeholder groups • Diagnose intricate integration challenges, identify fundamental root causes, and implement sustainable long-term resolution strategies Quality, Performance & Governance • Establish comprehensive non-functional requirement specifications including performance benchmarks, throughput limitations, and system resilience service level agreements • Supervise performance validation processes, failover verification, environment preparedness, and capacity strategic planning • Ensure technological solutions adhere to software development lifecycle best practices and are engineered for sustainable maintenance and scalability Required Experience & Skills • 8+ years of architectural expertise in enterprise systems, customer platforms, or integration engineering domains • 5+ years specialized experience in Pega Platform or Pega CDH delivery, preferably in senior integration or lead systems architect roles • Advanced proficiency in RESTful service architecture, event-driven system design, and API/microservices framework implementation • Comprehensive understanding of relational and NoSQL database technologies, real-time streaming platforms, and middleware ecosystems • Strong capabilities in security standard implementation, high-availability architectural patterns, and cloud-native technological frameworks • Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable integration solutions • Superior communication skills addressing both technical and executive audience levels Preferred / Certifications Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification mandatory • Demonstrated experience with enterprise marketing technologies, customer data platforms, customer relationship management systems, and data hub architectural designs • Additional cloud platform certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform considered advantageous
