Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native) – Shape the future of a next-generation banking platform from the ground up. You'll lead the design and implementation of a high-performance, secure mobile application that serves global business clients, working closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver a seamless financial experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement a robust, cross-platform mobile application using React Native and TypeScript, ensuring optimal performance across iOS and Android.
- Define architectural direction and technical standards for frontend development, emphasizing security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive, responsive user experiences.
- Integrate with backend systems and third-party services using secure, reliable API patterns.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, builds, and deployments.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead code reviews, promote clean coding practices, and maintain thorough documentation across the codebase.
- Monitor application health, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve stability and speed.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver features from concept to production, while continuously improving tooling and development workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience building and launching production mobile applications, preferably from inception to scale.
- Deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript, with a strong grasp of mobile-specific performance and security considerations.
- Proven ability to lead technical direction, make sound architectural decisions, and elevate team standards.
- Experience setting up automated testing and continuous integration pipelines.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for fintech innovation, secure systems, and building products that scale.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as an early or founding mobile engineer at a fintech or high-growth startup.
- Hands-on knowledge of cross-platform development challenges and platform-specific optimizations.
