YOUR ROLE Spearhead a machine learning engineering team developing cutting-edge personalization and optimization systems. This position requires balancing hands-on technical work with team leadership, driving both technical excellence and business impact. What You'll Do - Lead 3-5 ML engineers building personalization systems - Design multi-stage ranking architectures - Define technical strategy aligned with business objectives - Enhance model quality, system reliability, and development velocity - Establish model development and deployment best practices - Collaborate across product, data science, and engineering teams - Contribute directly to critical model development (50% coding) What We're Looking For - 7+ years ML engineering, 2+ years leading technical teams - Extensive expertise in large-scale personalization systems - Proficiency with modern ML architectures - Strong system design skills for ML infrastructure - Proven mentorship and technical decision-making capabilities - Stakeholder relationship management experience - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent Nice to Have - AdTech, e-commerce, or content platform background - Published research or significant ML contributions - Multi-objective optimization experience - Reinforcement learning knowledge for personalization Compensation: $130,000 - $250,000 per year Total Compensation Package includes base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits.
