Company Background Our client is a leading U.S.-based fitness franchisor operating 2,400+ clubs worldwide. Its digital ecosystem supports both franchise operations and member experiences, including onboarding, membership management, payments, and engagement features. Project Description The Lead Java Engineer will work on the high-load backend platform, which serves mobile applications through BFF and microservice-based architecture, cloud infrastructure, and extensive third-party integrations. The role combines hands-on backend development with technical leadership, including solution design, architectural decision-making, integration of new technologies, issue resolution, and continuous improvements to scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
