Voodoo is looking for a Lead Game Designer to join the team behind Block Jam 3D. You will be responsible for pushing the game to the next level in meta design, gameplay features, and player engagement, working closely with Product, Art, and Engineering to create engaging features and innovative systems.

What You'll Do

Design new gameplay features, core loops, and meta systems to drive long-term engagement and monetization.
Create detailed design documents, user flows, and economy models.
Propose AB test ideas and iterate based on player data and feedback.
Work with level designers to enhance puzzle mechanics and moment-to-moment gameplay.
Ensure the gameplay experience is satisfying, accessible, and monetization-friendly.
Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver features from concept to live release.
Collaborate with artists to ensure UX and visuals support the intended player experience.
Analyze player behavior and KPIs to inform design decisions.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and IAP monetization.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional game design experience in mobile free-to-play games.
At least one shipped Match-3 or top puzzle mobile title with proven success.
Strong knowledge of F2P mechanics and hybrid monetization strategies.
Strong knowledge of meta systems, live ops, and long-term engagement loops.
Strong knowledge of economy balancing and feature progression.
Proficient in clear and comprehensive design documentation.
Comfortable with data-driven decision-making and AB testing.
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in Puzzle games, Match 3 puzzle, Sort games.
A degree in game design, computer science, or a related field would be beneficial.
