EX Squared is hiring a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote - India)

Jobgether is looking for a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack to balance hands-on coding with technical leadership on a global, diverse team. You will lead complex initiatives from concept to production, designing high-impact features and shaping the technical direction for scalable, modern systems.

What You'll Do

• Take end-to-end ownership of product features from planning, design, and development to deployment and monitoring.
• Define and guide system architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Lead full-stack development using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL.
• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive performance improvements across the stack and ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business objectives.
• Champion best practices in CI/CD, testing, documentation, and the use of AI-powered developer tools.

What We're Looking For

• 6–10 years of experience in full-stack web development.
• At least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of leading projects end-to-end, from technical scoping through deployment.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Experience in project and release management, including task breakdown, delegation, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong team management and mentorship skills, fostering accountability and professional growth.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with scalable e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
