Responsibilities
- Design and construct backend platforms using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL databases.
- Create and sustain microservices architectures that are scalable and powered by APIs.
- Deploy cloud-native systems utilizing AWS services and enterprise-grade cloud standards.
- Build and oversee continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Package applications with Docker and manage deployment workflows via Kubernetes.
- Lead new development projects from initial concept through to live production release.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust software products.
- Support the creation of reporting tools and data-centric application features.
- Assist in frontend development tasks using React and Next.js when necessary.
- Uphold engineering best practices, coding consistency, and system stability.
- Engage in technical strategy discussions and mentorship of engineering personnel.
