Xenon7 is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives for a premier financial institution. You will lead the development of innovative data science solutions, mentor a team of data professionals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that drive business value.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support scalable and efficient analytics and machine learning workflows.
Work with large datasets, ensuring high data quality, integrity, and availability.
Develop and implement machine learning models, focusing on regression, classification, and clustering techniques.
Apply libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and XGBoost to solve real-world business problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering collaboration and driving best practices.
Optimize query performance and database structures to support fast and efficient data processing.
Explore and implement deep learning techniques using Keras, PyTorch, or TensorFlow where applicable.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in data science.
At least 2+ years in a leadership role guiding data teams and strategy.
Proven expertise in Python, including libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and XGBoost.
Strong foundations in traditional machine learning methods, including regression, classification, and clustering.
Experience working with databases, query optimization, and data pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
Solid understanding of data architecture and ETL/ELT processes.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding teams.
