Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead data science initiatives within a high-impact digital advertising environment. In this role, you will analyze large-scale, complex datasets to generate actionable insights that drive business performance and revenue optimization.
What You'll Do
- Extract insights from high-volume transactional and business data to support revenue optimization strategies.
- Lead the development of automated processes for data cleansing, integration, and evaluation from multiple sources.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze historical and real-time data, identifying patterns and trends.
- Build predictive models to forecast customer behavior, product performance, and revenue outcomes.
- Collaborate with product and service teams to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Construct actionable recommendations, strategic plans, and dashboards to guide decision-making.
- Lead projects or teams as needed, providing expertise and mentorship to peers.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Deep understanding of advanced statistical methods, algorithms, and predictive modeling.
- Ability to manage large, complex, and noisy datasets effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
