Millennium Physicians Group (MPG) is hiring a Lead AI Experience Designer to pioneer the future of our AI experiences. This role is central to evolving our Castlight AI platform towards being agentic, predictive, and capable of reasoning and taking action on behalf of users. You will be a foundational member of our UX team, helping to build a better, healthier future for our members by guiding AI implementation across our ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Build an AI experience strategy that solves critical problems for all users across our full platform ecosystem.
- Evolve our experiences from mostly conversational AI to agentic and predictive AI, embedding technology into various user workflows.
- Work across the entire design process, from high-level strategy down to interaction details.
- Collaborate with visual designers to shape the look & feel, voice & tone, motion design, and visual affordances of AI across platforms.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand requirements, possibilities, and limitations, and craft release plans.
- Create clear documentation for AI-driven experiences so other teams and designers can work with your AI system.
- Stay current on AI trends and technological advancements to keep our practices at the industry forefront.
- Act as a strong, positive role model and mentor for a growing design team, fostering a culture of design excellence.
- Contribute to other areas of work as needed and help establish new practices and lead aspects of team development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product UX design with a proven track record of creating successful, user-friendly products.
- Expertise in Figma.
- Experience designing AI experiences and using AI tools as part of your typical workflow.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile product development teams.
- Strong understanding of design systems, user flows, and interaction design principles.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable design improvements.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and cross-platform user experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design for complex user interactions and workflows.
- Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for diverse user groups.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree is a plus.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $119,312.00 to $178,968.00
