Baptist Health is looking for a Lab Assistant I or II to join our team. In this role, you will apply your phlebotomy expertise and problem-solving skills to support our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for the collection, receipt, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for testing.
What You'll Do
- Provide phlebotomy expertise, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Perform the collection, receipt in computer, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for tests performed by the laboratory.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or one year of proven experience in a Hospital, Reference, or Physician Office Lab.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based at the Baptist Health Resource Center.
