Avaloq is looking for a Kotlin Multiplatform Developer to join a brand-new team tasked with defining our future Mobile Banking experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of talented engineers to design, build, and integrate features for next-generation mobile applications.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and design software solutions for the mobile platform.
- Write high-performing, scalable, and reusable code using Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Maintain the codebase and automation of the application.
- Implement, test, and technically document features of our mobile banking solution.
- Analyze and resolve software defects.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the mobile application.
- Actively participate in the development process of our products.
- Proactively find bugs, document steps to reproduce them, and provide solutions.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience as a mobile application developer for Android or iOS.
- A clear understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Practical know-how of the Kotlin Multiplatform language.
- Familiarity with mobile application submission processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Passion for good software development practices, design patterns, and OOP principles.
- Experience with Android/iOS concepts for user interface, data storage, encryption, security, and performance.
- Experience working with a mobile stack including Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, MVVM, and Compose.
- Experience integrating third-party libraries, SDKs, and REST APIs.
- Strong communication skills and experience leading other developers.
- Experience working within Agile processes.
- Analytical, solution-driven, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
- A Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Science & Technology, or an equivalent field.
- A quality-conscious attitude, self-motivated and goal-oriented approach.
- Open-minded, a good team player, and proficient in English communication.
