Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Authorised Distributor buyers, keeping them close to the latest Wizards brands, product launches, and promotional plans.
- Own forecasting for upcoming releases, using data and insight to review demand on a monthly cadence and drive strong commercial decisions.
- Monitor order velocity and stock positions, proactively recommending reprints or stock transfers to meet demand across Europe.
- Drive distributor performance by setting clear objectives and targets, then reviewing progress through regular quarterly business reviews.
- Use trade shows and conventions as high-value opportunities to strengthen relationships with key partners and spot new growth opportunities.
- Partner closely with retail marketing to shape MDF planning and maximise the impact of channel activity.
- Make commercially sound internal recommendations on stock production for each new Wizards release.
- Track stock availability and recommend initiatives to resolve issues quickly, ensuring partners have maximum access to Wizards products.
- Contribute to annual trade term discussions, helping support sustainable, high-performing partnerships.
Requirements
- Degree educated, ideally in business, finance, commerce, sales, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated account management experience working with retailers or distributors within gaming, entertainment, or comparable consumer products categories.
- Strong understanding of B2B and/or B2C retail processes and channel dynamics.
- Highly developed commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to build credibility across stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and organisational capabilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Collaborative team player with a strong partnership mindset.
