Derex Technologies Inc is looking for a Jurist/Legal Consultant (m/w/d) to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical legal advice and solutions for our e-commerce members, contribute to the development of our legal products, and help ensure legal security in online trade.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal consultation and resolve legal questions from members in areas including distance selling law, contract law, and data protection law.
- Conduct in-depth shop reviews for members.
- Consult members via telephone and written channels on legal security in online trade and its implementation.
- Research legal issues and topics within the e-commerce field.
- Monitor legislative processes and develop solutions for our legal products.
- Create legal information documents, such as information sheets, for members.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with other business areas.
What We're Looking For
- At least the first German state examination in law (erstes juristisches Staatsexamen).
- Communication-secure German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1 level).
Nice to Have
- First professional experience in the mentioned legal fields.
- Interest in legal tech and a particular affinity for e-commerce and IT law.
- Strong customer and service orientation.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work approach.
- A basic understanding of technical contexts.
- Enjoyment of teamwork, high communication skills, and empathy.
