Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with international regulations related to artificial intelligence and online commerce platforms
- Manage legal requirements under data privacy laws, including drafting data processing agreements and conducting technical and organizational impact assessments
- Develop and maintain compliance records for data protection, AI governance, consumer rights, and similar regulatory areas
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of AI systems in alignment with European regulatory expectations
- Conduct risk evaluations under applicable product safety and regulatory standards
- Review new products and features for adherence to data privacy and consumer protection laws
- Handle routine legal operations, including intellectual property matters such as takedown notices and infringement issues
- Review and analyze legal agreements such as non-disclosure agreements and licensing contracts
- Update and manage legal documentation including terms of service, privacy policies, and content guidelines
- Monitor, research, and interpret emerging legal and regulatory changes affecting AI operations
Requirements
- Formal legal training, such as a Master of Laws, Juris Doctor, or equivalent recognized legal credential
- 2 to 6 years of professional legal experience, with at least 2 years focused on contract law and data protection regulations
- Ability to translate intricate legal principles into clear, accessible language
- Genuine interest in artificial intelligence technologies and applications
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with full professional fluency in English
- Results-driven attitude with a sense of accountability and dedication
- Action-oriented approach—able to manage execution, planning, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment
- Open-minded and receptive to feedback, committed to continuous learning
- Comfortable working with unfiltered AI-generated content, including material classified as not safe for work (NSFW)
Nice to Have
- Full legal licensure as an attorney or legal practitioner
- Prior experience in AI-related compliance frameworks or projects
- Proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English
