Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Junior Workflow Automation Engineer. This is an opportunity for a tech-savvy graduate to help build AI-powered workflow solutions. You'll design and deploy intelligent agents, automate cross-functional processes, and collaborate with diverse teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and build automation agents using LLM APIs and agentic workflows to improve business processes.
- Collaborate with vertical teams to understand bottlenecks and deliver customized AI solutions.
- Integrate automation agents with internal platforms like CRM, CMS, and business dashboards using APIs and scripting.
- Rotate through various business functions to develop a cross-functional view and ensure solutions address company-wide needs.
- Ensure AI implementations are secure, ethical, and compliant by working closely with the Tech Team.
- Monitor agent performance, gather feedback, and iteratively optimize tools for accuracy and efficiency.
- Create training resources and documentation to support adoption across internal teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, with exposure to automation scripting and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience through internships, hackathons, or capstone projects involving AI or automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Eagerness to learn how different departments operate and propose AI automations accordingly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to fast-changing tools and priorities.
- Awareness of data privacy, AI bias, and responsible AI practices.
- Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI), chatbot prototyping, LangChain, Power Automate, or similar tools.
