Ilias Vassiliou & Team, headhunter.digital im Auftrag, is seeking a (Junior) Software Sales Executive to join the Sales & Marketing team. In this role, you will drive new customer acquisition and account expansion for a leading Corporate Reporting SaaS platform, focusing on listed companies from the SDAX upwards in the DACH region and prospectively across Europe.
What You'll Do
- Acquire new customers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and prospectively in other European markets.
- Build and maintain your own lead lists through active research in relevant industries.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: qualification, needs analysis, software demos, proposal development, contracts, and handover.
- Provide ongoing care and expansion of your customer portfolio, including up- and cross-selling.
- Handle reporting, forecasting, and maintain accurate customer data.
- Conduct market and competitive analyses in the SaaS, Reporting, and Corporate Publishing space.
- Identify new business opportunities such as standalone solutions and potential modules from market feedback.
- Participate in internal training, webinars, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Collaborate closely with product management to bring customer feedback directly into the roadmap.
- Contribute to events, trade fairs, webinars, and joint marketing campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 2 years of professional experience in tech sales.
- Confident handling of B2B software solutions, including conducting customer demos.
- Enthusiasm for customer contact, active sales, and relationship-building.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to connect with people.
- Technical understanding and genuine interest in complex software solutions.
- Motivation for working with large companies.
- A resilient and solution-oriented mindset, persistent despite resistance.
- Self-reliance and strong organizational skills.
- Very good German and very good English language skills.
- Willingness to travel for 5–8 customer meetings per month in the DACH region.
Nice to Have
- A background in business administration, business informatics, finance, marketing, IT, or a similar field.
